“Thank you for scheduling your Block Advisors apt. on 04/10/19 @ THE SHOPPES OF BOOT . [Phone number]. Reply STOP to OptOut of texts”
According to the internet, the shoppes of boot is somewhere in Florida. No idea what it is.
This was from H&R Block. This was perfectly legitimate, as it confirmed an appointment I had set by phone.
Also, Family Dentist Tree in Rochester MN had used this to confirm an appointment.
Spectrum (Time Warner Cable) information confirming a service call I scheduled. Sent as a graphic, rather than text. (North Carolina)
HRBLOCK sending appt reminder, its fake because they misspelled words… Spammers or Phishing attack
Keep receiving a text from this number from Windstream, stating they can now text me updates on my account. I do not have a Windstream account and never have.
73251 – received three messages that were too large to retrieve on my flip phone. Unable to view to know whether they were important or not.
Same here. Tempoily using a flip phone that’s hardly ever on and never gets texts to that number, but received 3 in 2 days.
It might be Spectrum/Time Warner Cable alerting me of a service appointment; the blank large texts started the day before my appointment.
I’m gonna second that it’s more than likely an appointment notification from Spectrum/Timewarner
