A PPI claims handling firm called Allay carried on texting me after I cancelled. They sent a text from a conventional mobile number but saying “ Optout: Text AW68KSTOP to 60777 “ The number 60777 is run by txtlocal.com in the U.K. as an SMS relay handling service, but I have found at least one report online of somebody having a £10 charge added to their mobile bill when trying to use 60777 to opt out of text messages, so I will not be sending any messages to 60777.
