I received a text message from 22000 that stated: someone just used your passwood for my phone has been cloned several times before from IMEI number. I think it has again. I’m not the admin on my cell and can’t change any settting or defaults. please advise. I can’t even do a factory reset, everything pops right back up on the phone. I can’t revoke all because it says trusted devices reset.

The short code number 22000 seems to be used by Google officially, but it looks like people are either spoofing it or trying to input other peoples phone numbers to try and verify google accounts, hence why people are complaining of receiving texts from google for accounts they never requested.

Thanks for the info, FYI. Just received one of these myself, which sent me into a panic trying to figure out who was accessing my account across my many different gmail accounts.

      Hackers (phishers, whatever) suck.
